Although you'll work together in groups on this, I want you to allocate paragraphs of your essay to different group member (e.g. Ayaka - Introduction & Body 1, Bank - Body 2, Yuuka - Body 3 & Conclusion). You can spend the class planning your essay together, but don't start the actual writing yet).

You'll check out another Google Product today - Google Documents, or just 'Docs' for short. Docs lets groups of people work collaboratively on an online document rather than having many copies on individual computers. 3. Click on New > Document
4. You should now be in a blank document. Type in the names of your group members with no spaces (e.g. AyakaBankYuuka) then click on the save file icon in the top left corner. You should now see the file name at the top of the screen.
5. Now type in a blank structure for your outline similar to the outline you did for the persuasive essay (see image above) then click on 'Save & Close'
6. Now check your file in the main Docs page then click on 'Share'. In the 'Share This File' window type in the email addresses of all other groups members, me (porlieworlie@gmail.com), and Joy (joy1989muhaha@gmail.com) then click on 'Invite Collaborators'
7. In the next screen type in any message such as 'You can now help me to plan this essay. Here is the link to the Google Document' then click on 'Send'
8. All group members should now check their email and click on the link to edit the document. If you want to see what changes the other person is making, click on refresh. If you want the other person to see your changes you’ll need to click on your save button. If the other person then clicks on refresh, he/she will see your changes.
